Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced the launch of the NADRA mobile app and the opening of three new regional offices in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gwadar, and Gilgit-Baltistan. He revealed that the Pak-ID website will be shut down, and all NADRA services will now be available through the mobile app. This move aims to resolve the challenges faced by citizens, especially overseas Pakistanis.

Naqvi explained that users had previously struggled to upload fingerprints and documents on the website. Additionally, fake identity documents were being created through fraudulent websites. Strict actions are being taken against these illegal practices in collaboration with other authorities.

The minister also highlighted that the new and improved NADRA mobile app now offers services such as ID card applications, POC, B-forms, and FRCs. Citizens can now complete the entire process for their identity documents from the comfort of their homes using the app.

He further announced that the three new regional offices will start operations by March 31, which will improve services in remote areas. Moreover, NADRA plans to establish offices in all tehsils across the country by January 31, with only 19 tehsils left to be covered.
