The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) is the government organization in Pakistan responsible for keeping records of its citizens, including health-related information. One important record is the polio vaccination certificate. Polio is a highly contagious disease, and vaccination is the best way to prevent its spread. Citizens can access this service through the NADRA website or by visiting any NADRA center across the country. To obtain the certificate, individuals need to provide their personal details and vaccination history.

Please note that the old yellow polio vaccination certificates are no longer valid. Travellers must obtain the new computerized NADRA polio certificate for international travel.

How to Obtain Polio Card Vaccination from NADRA in Pakistan?

Receive the Polio Vaccine:

Visit a nearby government hospital or an authorized medical facility to get the required polio vaccine. Vaccination campaigns are conducted regularly, so you can easily receive the two oral drops.

Access the NIMS Portal:

After vaccination, go to the National Immunization Management System (NIMS) portal by visiting https://nims.nadra.gov.pk

Choose the Relevant Option:

On the portal, select the option labeled Other Vaccination Polio, Yellow Fever”  to begin the process of obtaining your certificate.

Enter Required Details:

Fill out the form by entering your CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) number, the issue date of your CNIC, and selecting “Oral Polio Vaccine” from the dropdown menu. Verify the details to proceed.

Complete a Verification Step:

Solve the simple mathematical calculation displayed on the portal and click   “Verify” to move forward.

Provide Personal Information:

On the next page, enter your full name as it appears on your CNIC or passport, your passport number (if applicable), and your nationality. Click “Verify” to confirm the information.

Make the Payment:

A one-time fee of Rs. 100 is required to process your certificate. Follow the instructions to complete the payment securely.

Download Your Certificate:

After successful payment, you’ll see the option to download your Polio Vaccination Certificate. Click on “Certificate Download” to save and print it for future use.
